Visiting the Carpathian Mountains, Dark Wolf!!!!

***** Star Rating

I gave this rating because no matter how many books I read in this series I never get bored. The others within the race are always mentioned in some way or another but the main characters always have there own problems that they must deal with. This is one of the wonderful traits that [author:Christine Feehan|6268] uses in her novel to keep people coming back.

I have been waiting a long time for this book to come out; to see how Dimitri would handle Skyler, what type of problems they would encounter, how her father and uncles were going to handle it, and if she would finally give her birth father a chance.

I was so not disappointed in this book at all. At just nineteen, recruiting your two closest friends to mount a rescue mission is not something that Skyler studied in school, but she absolutely could not leave her lifemate Dimitri in the clutches of the Lycans. However, even with the seriousness of the mission Joseph keeps spirits high with his pranks and jokes.

Paul is not quite as bad with the jokes and pranks, and because he's human he's definitely not the muscle but he is definitely needed. All there of them have very dangerous family members and they are counting on that for the mission to be a success.

Although Dimitri and Skyler go through some difficult growing pains, Dimitri handles himself and their challenges with a type of strength that is rarely seen in men. Dimitri and Skyler's story has been greatly anticipated and believe me I was not disappointed.

This edition to the Carpathian series is full of laughs, action, anticipation, and a few tears. If you haven't been reading about the Carpathian's, I recommend that you start now. Of course, the books can be read alone, but I recommend reading them in order. This series is about a whole community and in order to have a better understanding exactly why something is either said or done, reading the entire series is a must. Don't despair though, you won't be disappointed.
